Hambleden Cinema

Hambleden Cinema Hambleden Cinema is a volunteer led project for the benefit of the local community in the Hambleden Valley. It is run on behalf of, Hambleden Village Hall.

Our mission is to bring the Big Screen experience to our community hub at reasonable prices. At least once a month during the autumn and winter we have a film screening using projection equipment provided by Cinema for All allowing us to offer an extremely high quality performance on our 3.5 metre screen. We have a licenced bar which opens 60 – 90 minutes before the screening offering wine, beer,

soft drinks and sweet & savoury nibbles. All profits are currently being re-invested into providing our own equipment for Hambleden Cinema. Once we are fully self-sufficient all profits will go to Hambleden Village Hall, registered charity 300275.

Join us on the 21st March to watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, rated PG, a 1969 American Western buddy film. It is based loosely on fact, the film tells the story of Wild West outlaws Robert LeRoy Parker, known as Butch Cassidy (Paul Newman), and his partner Harry Longabaugh, the "Sundance Kid" (Robert Redford), who are on the run from a crack US posse after a string of train robberies. The pair and Sundance's lover, Etta Place (Katharine Ross), flee to Bolivia to escape the posse.
