The Centre at Halton The Centre @ Halton is our vision for a vibrant community resource for all.

Our wide range of facilities offer both indoor and outdoor space with a fantastic new skatepark. We have a huge number of classes and activities, from sports and exercise to community activities and a regular programme of lively and varied events.

The Centre @ Halton is holding a FREE TASTER EVENT to celebrate the 1st anniversary of Pickleball and the 20th anniversary of Circuit Training with an open day on Sunday 14th June 2-4pm.

Come and try Pickleball and Outdoor Circuits for free and meet others keen to play. A raffle will be held on the day with proceeds going to support the Outdoor Circuits group. Prize donations gratefully received.

To celebrate 20 years of Circuits at The Centre, during the month of June, new starters get their first session FREE!

Outdoor Circuits is a great opportunity to get fit and strong with friends and family.

Come along tonight to try it out on the MUGA.

Outdoor Circuits is held every Monday evening 6-7pm come rain or shine - don't worry, if it is raining the training session will be held inside!

Are you looking for something active to do with the kids?
Bring them along too and burn off some energy before bed. We welcome children aged 5 upwards if they bring a training adult.

Cost £6 per adult, £3 5-18 year olds.

The Coffee Shop is open for extended hours throughout the half term holiday from Saturday 23rd May to Monday 1st June.

Monday to Friday 11am-5pm
Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm

Back to our usual term time opening of 2pm to 5pm on Tuesday 2nd June.

Please do come and support your local Coffee Shop during the half term break.

Pop in for an ice cream or a hot drink or treat yourself to some lunch!

If the weather is poor we have entertainment indoors! We have a children's play area and a number of board games and books.

This month's Luncheon Club is this week on Thursday 14th May from 12.30pm to 3.00pm for £8 per person.

A hearty two course meal followed by an interest talk whilst you enjoy tea or coffee.

This week we have a talk by Pam Roberts on Family History.

One of our wonderful community members has very kindly donated some beautiful jigsaws for us to sell to raise funds.

Thank you David!

We have added some of the previous community jigsaws that have been completed to the offering too.

There are 500 and 1000 piece jigsaws with some lovely images of natural landscapes, art pieces, fun animals and more. They can be found in the Coffee Shop.

Suggested donation £4 and all money will go towards our outside toilet project fundraising.

FoodFutures: North Lancashire invites you to join one of the many events this April 🌷

Running from Friday 20 April - 2 May there will be a series of events for you to get involved in: from a Halton Food Spring Shindig, REcommoning exhibition and regenerative Economy gathering, through to a farm tour, forage walk, community meals, picnic, compost workshops and a blossom trail…

On Sunday 26th April, from 12pm to 4pm
local artist Sarah Hymas will be on the Centre Field (or in the hall if the weather insists!) inviting local residents to come and 'map your place' by sharing memories, stories and dreams of the area in order to capture the history and hopes of Halton.

This session follows the Spring Food Shindig at Halton Mill on Saturday 25th April from 10am to 5pm with a session on Planting a Herb Garden, a Seasonal Community Meal, and more.
