Aprils *FREE PSA Test was so successful, WE ARE DOING IT AGAIN IN SEPTEMBER!!!!
Do you know because of our free PSA testing with Halstead Town Football Club that from all the tests, we discovered nearly 25% (24.7%) of the 73 men tested where the reading for their count was Green but high and should be monitored, what we also found was that 2 Amber readings were detected and 4 Red readings were also detected. These guys never had ANY symptoms but undoubtedly, because of that test, we may well have saved their lives AND THAT TO US IS A SUCCESS.
So, because of that success, we thought ... LETS DO IT AGAIN!
So, Wednesday 17th September 2025 from 5.30pm in the evening, we are happy to team up with Halstead Town Football Club at Rosemary Lane again to bring the men folk of Halstead and surrounding areas between the age of 40-80 another opportunity for a free private PSA test. You don't need to ask your doctor and you don't need a referral. You don't have to have had any symptoms either. All you will need is to *BOOK A PLACE using the link below.
With an estimated 57,000 new cases every year, PCa is the commonest major cancer in the UK and the only one still with no national screening programme despite clear evidence of a
clinical, social, and economic benefit from screening, which could reduce our death rate from 13,000 to 7,000 a year. Many requests for PSA tests are declined by GPs still advising not to
test “till symptoms arise” – too late for screening!
So, what you waiting for? BOOK NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
* Please be aware, its free because Joshua Nunn are picking up the bill, we will pay for every booking that is made, however, if you book and then for whatever reason cant make it, PLEASE notify CHAPS IMMEDIATELY so as we can offer the place to someone else. In April, 27 men did not turn up but only four cancelled, and that meant that others who could have been screened could not, please we beg of you, if you can't make it for whatever reason, cancel your appointment and let someone else have the benefit of this great cause.
