Its always nice when one of our members has a great day in freemasonry elsewhere. Our W.Bro Martin Smith took the office of Master at Hyde Park Lodge 1425, a lodge that is over 150 years old (more than us) and is steeped in history, indeed the picture here, which was found by chance and nearly thrown away! is from 1907 when Festive Boards were really very well attended. Our own W.M. was invited to the ceremony today but unfortunately couldn't attend, but several members of Joshua Nunn made the effort to attend and a Jolly good time was had by all. Congratulations W.Bro Martin Smith, here is to an exciting year as Master of Hyde Park and member of Joshua Nunn! WELL DONE.
