Here’s a date for your diaries to chase away those back-to-school blues!

In just under two weeks, Newtown Social Club is holding its now-annual Charity Fun Day, raising money for The Bluebell Circle.

📅 Saturday 12th September 2026
12pm till late
Newtown Social Club, Halling

There’ll be stalls and games, food and drink, bouncy castles, face painting and loads of live entertainment from Kirsty Sings, Caroline Maresca, The Mighty Groovers and Offplan.

It was such a brilliant day last year, and we’d love to see lots of familiar (and new!) faces there again supporting The Bluebell Circle.

And keep your eyes peeled… we have an AMAZING raffle prize list coming very soon!

Pop the date in your diary and come along for a proper community day, have some fun and help us raise money for a cause very close to our hearts. 💙

Today, on Father’s Day, we’re celebrating all the brilliant dads in our Bluebell Circle family.

This past year has shown us that being a dad is often found in the little things - checking in, listening, offering a shoulder to lean on and helping others through difficult times.

Rob has been all of those things. He’s been there for Freddie and Bea every step of the way, while carrying the loss of Sofia himself. He’s stayed strong when he needed to, but never so strong that he stopped talking, sharing or letting others support him too.

We’re lucky to be surrounded by so many dads who do the same.

To all the dads, grandads, stepdads, father figures, and the mums carrying both roles - thank you for the love, care, strength and support you give every day, especially when it’s needed most.

Happy Father’s Day. 💙

Some days, grief feels heavier than others, and right now we’re missing Sofia more than we can put into words.

Watching this video of the opening of the ‘Sofia’s Throne’ project is a reminder of why we began this journey. Every fundraiser, every donation and every act of kindness has helped bring Phase 1 to life in Sofia’s memory.

A huge thank you to Jim Allison from LuminessPhotography for capturing this moment so beautifully. At a time when we’re missing our little girl so intensely, it means a great deal to see the joy, connection and sense of community that her legacy continues to inspire.

All for Sofia. Always. 💙🦋🫧🐚
