Building this structure was an unprecedented introduction to the area.

Historically, idolatry in Makkah beganv with statues of pious figures that eventually evolved into objects of worship over time.

Similarly, this monument risks paving the way for a shrine-like atmosphere where crowds may gather and eventually slip into veneration.

Muslims and imams in Halifax must carefully evaluate the long-term religious repercussions of the Qur'an burial site and its Shahadah monument.

Is it worth spending £9 million tax payers money?

Mr Ahmed asked questions in the cabinet meeting to justify £9million on Queen's road. The Reform run council have provided no justification to spend £9million.

Its simple, the council is in debt of £8milion. This is why the Reform led is motivated to help fund raise so that the council can then rent the building back to the community to reduce its budget deficit. Please note.

*HOTS has proposed that the key usage of QRNC was to create a "Community HUB". PARK ward has already a community hub on Raven Street centre, run by UC3 COMMUNITY HUB. How can the council justify creating a competing hub costing £9 millions less than 200 metres away. You can create a a whole estate for that amount of money?*

*Why doesn’t the council invest in the existing infrastructure on Raven Street Community Hub cost a lot less for improvements and greater ROI?.*

Justice must be measured by action not wealth.

I like this quote because it forces people to ask a difficult question Is justice really blind, or does it often depend on who has power and money?

The point isn’t that stealing is acceptable. The point is that societies often punish the poor more harshly while powerful people accused of financial crimes, corruption, or abuses of power can avoid consequences or even continue to hold positions of influence. Whether you agree with the comparison or not, it’s meant to challenge us to think about whether justice is applied equally.

If the law is only harsh on those with the least power, then people have every right to question whether the system is serving justice or protecting privilege.

A society should not have one standard for the poor and another for the powerful. Justice should be measured by actions, not by wealth, status, or influence. That’s the conversation this quote invites us to have.
