The last few years running the writers group has been wonderful. We’ve enjoyed meeting everyone who’s come along to one of our sessions. But we’ve had to come to a decision to say goodbye and to close the group. As a lot of you know we ran the group in our own time, funding it ourselves and making sure to keep it as accessible as possible. But with various life commitments we both have and no longer living in a viable distance to Halifax we’ve decided to call it a night. But this doesn’t mean we won’t be around in the future! Please follow India for updates on her new debut novel with penguin 😱, for future writing workshops not associated with ourselves and for future cultural activities in your local area.
We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for joining us on these creative journeys and we wish you all the best. A huge shoutout and thank you to John, previous owner of the now closed Halifax Geek Retreat and of course, Lucy & Pam from (Who you better all still check out! They have the best cakes in town!)
