It isn't.

The most present, connected, human moments we've seen, from crisis shelters to classrooms to rooms full of strangers... have all started with play.

The willingness to be in the room with another person and see what happens ❤️

Let us say this clearly, because it needs to be said.

Something worrying is happening right now.

Rights that women spent generations fighting for are being quietly dismantled.

Not always in ways that make headlines.
But through policies, laws, and “small changes” that slowly roll back equality.

A recent global review found that 1 in 4 countries now reports a backlash against gender equality.

When women lose rights, children lose futures.

When women are safe, heard, and supported, children grow up in stronger communities.
When women can lead, imagine, and create their futures, entire generations gain more possibilities.

But when women’s rights are weakened, safety, opportunity, and dignity at risk - for everyone.

This International Women’s Day is about protection.
Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL women.

The world every child grows up in tomorrow depends on what we protect today.

Our mighty director Holly is steering the ship again…
with Assistant Director, Baby Frida, keeping standards high (and morale higher). 🍼
Frida’s current notes include:
“More bananas.”
“Less naps.”
“More sparkle.”

A huge bubble-filled thank you to for including us again in the Primary Arts Programme, making sure that *all* children have access to cultural opportunities.

This boy’s face says everything about a child's resilience.
The moment was captured just after one of our shows in Ukraine.
Right now, millions of children are living through war. Their sense of safety shattered.
But that spark of wonder and joy.
It’s still there.
Waiting. Hoping.
This Christmas, we have a choice.
We can scroll past.
Or we can can say, “You matter. Your childhood matters. You deserve to laugh again".
