The 11th-17th of May is Mental Health awareness week it reminds us that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Its time to take a moment for yourself and those around you and simply ask are we okay? A conversation with a friend over a coffee, a simple act of kindness for a stranger, a smile in the street to a neighbour all these moments of support can make a big difference in people's lives.
Let’s continue to raise awareness, break the stigma, and support one another.

>Maintain a clean and well-organised working area, including preparing fresh food with our clients.
>Be creative and contribute to the development of new offerings.
>Providing a professional and memorable experience for all our clients.
>Have extensive knowledge of social care or be willing to work towards qualifications.
>Be a car driver and willing to transport clients on outings and trips.
>Enabling our clients to be involved in every aspect of planning and participation to promote independence at all levels.

VE Day 2026 was the 81st anniversary of the victory in Europe. It remains a moment for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude, while also celebrating the resilience and peace built in the decades since the war ended. We had a lovely day, listening to music from the 1940's, watching powerpoints and creating history timelines. We made Spitfire planes and enjoyed an afternoon tea. 😀

This week some of our service users attended a wellbeing college course at Project C**t, they discussed the importance of looking after our mental health and ways to boost our self esteem through a range of activities. We had so much fun! Looking forward to the next one in June. Thankyou 😊
