✨ Proud Moment for Dodgeholme & Mixenden ✨
We are so proud to share that the work of the Dodgeholme Tenants Association has been recognised by Kate Dearden MP for Halifax who recently wrote to thank us for the positive impact we are making in our community. 💚
As many of you know, we have just started our new women’s empowerment group Shine Within, helping women build confidence, wellbeing, and connection. Kate will been invited to come along and see the difference we are making , and we look forward to showing her what community spirit in Mixenden is all about!
For far too long, outsiders have spoken negatively about Mixenden, but we know the truth. We are one of the strongest, most passionate communities in Halifax. 💪 Yes, we are not perfect, but we have something rare,a bond like no other, hearts on our sleeves, and a determination to thrive together.
With new funding opportunities ahead, I truly believe we will go from strength to strength. Our children and families deserve a voice in shaping Mixenden’s future, and Dodge Holme Residents🏡 is here to make sure those voices are heard loud and clear.
This is just the beginning , together, we are building a Mixenden where hope, opportunity, and pride shine through every street and every generation. 🌟
