The Rifle Hall

The Rifle Hall Halesworth Rifle Hall, which dates back to 1792 is a local landmark in its own right with a rich history and bright future.

The Rifle Hall is used for a wide range of community activities and events, as well as
for private functions. Run by a group of trustees whose members include actor Bernard Hill and County Councillor Tony Goldson, and supported by a loyal group of local volunteers. Available for private functions ranging from formal dances, to kids birthday parties and cat shows to yoga classes and special lecture

s. With a fully equipped licensed bar, cloak room and toilet facilities the venue can cater to a wide range of events and occasions. Currently the Rifle Hall is applying for over £250,000 funding to restore the venue to its former glory (with a 21st century twist)

The Rifle Hall's next Tabletop sale/Market is on 6th June. We would love to have a wide variety of stalls including plants, produce and crafts, as well as antiques, collectibles and second hand goods. So, if you haven't considered it before, why not give it a go in June.

All the money we make is going towards replacing the terrible old gas heaters with modern, infrared wall heaters. If you know the existing heaters, you'll appreciate that this is a very worthy cause!

To find out more or book a stall, please contact Anne Thomas on 01986 784348 (24th May onwards)

We would be able to create an opportunity to reduce rural isolation. We are very proud of Halesworth Area Community Transport as over the many years we have maintained a good, caring service which has addressed the needs of our community for all ages.

Another great night for dancers at The Rifle Hall last night thanks to Corinna Stokes. Whilst it was a private event dancers came from +30 miles to enjoy the evening and have gone away praising the Hall as the best dance space in the area. Following the success of the Rifle Hall Trusts Valentines Dance plans are underway for the Rifle Hall Summer Dance. Watch this Space!
