A few of us attended the ESFWI Annual Meeting at the De La Warr in Bexhill on Tuesday. We enjoyed an entertaining and interesting talk by Curtis Tappenden on the Art of the Circus, with some of his work raffled on the day. This was followed by another fascinating talk by Charlie Dimmock on her life as a TV gardener and her love of ponds. A good day with great company πŸŒ»πŸ’š

Happy Neurodiversity Celebration Week! This week is a dedicated time to recognise and celebrate the neurodiverse community.

It is a great opportunity to educate yourself on neurodiversity and learn how you can support neurodiverse people.

We have a range of resources you can use, like our 'Guide for Neurotypicals: Understanding Autistic and ADHD women and girls' and our Thinking Differently zine which offers insights on the gendered differences in autism and ADHD. Check them out here: https://www.thewi.org.uk/campaigns/key-and-current-campaigns/thinking-differently

Through awareness and inclusion, we can ensure that neurodiverse people feel comfortable and celebrated.
