๐ฟ Hadfield Community Garden ๐ฟ
Did you know Hadfield has its very own Community Garden? ๐ธ
Youโll find it beside the path between Hadfield Rd and Chapel Lane, next to Hadfield Infant School and behind Spring Bank.
Started in 2018, this space transformed a strip of wasteland into a thriving community garden thanks to the efforts of Joy Hallsworth, Cllr Ed Kelly (then Mayor of High Peak), a fantastic team of volunteers ๐ช
With support from High Peak Borough Council, who kindly donated fruit trees ๐๐๐, and The Bureau, who provided extra planters ๐ฟ, and ๐ค Hadfield coming together CIO, the garden now flourishes with:
๐ Fruit bushes (raspberry, currant, blueberry)
๐ฅ Veggies (potatoes, kale, runner beans, chard)
๐ธ๐ฟ Flower beds & herb garden (mint, rosemary, chive, marjoram, lemon balm and much more!)
