Haddington Spinners and Weavers celebrated their Open Day in style on Saturday 7th March. We had a very successful day and would like to thank all participants. Special thanks go to Leanor from Eleanor Shadow for bringing such a marvelous selection of brilliant yarns and fibres for us. If you missed us this year, put a date in your diary for the first Saturday in March 2027!

Would-be spinners and weavers are welcome to come and see what do, and our supplier 'Eleanor Shadow' will have a stunning selection of yarns and fibres. Our bring and buy table often has quality local fleece for sale too. And the home baking is delicious! See you there!

Come along to a highly individual exhibition featuring The Feral Spinner's 'Knitted Year' waistcoat amongst other paintings/drawings/sculptures and mixed media exhibits. Dec 13th - evening and Dec 14th - daytime, Sett Studios, Leith Walk, Edinburgh. It will be fun!

Haddington Spinners and Weavers enjoyed a delightful weekend at Allison Cargill House, Whittingehame, last weekend. We spun, knitted, nostepinned, crocheted chickens, peg loomed, chatted and ate delicious food! I think we might be there again next year. It was, warm, spotlessly clean and just right for our numbers. I'm looking forward to next year already!

Haddington Spinners and Weavers enjoyed a super outing at Preston Tower and Doocot Open Day, Prestonpans. We were invited to celebrate the restoration of the doocot which is now populated by hundreds of knitted pigeons. Our contributions were knitted in memory of our dear former member Moira Dornan.
