Bluebell Season is Here! 💙

There’s something truly special about this time of year along the Tamar… our woodlands are coming alive with beautiful carpets of bluebells, creating one of nature’s most magical displays.

If you’re heading out for a walk, now is the perfect moment to enjoy them at their best. Please remember to stick to paths and avoid stepping on the flowers so everyone can continue to enjoy them for years to come.

Why not take a moment to slow down, breathe in the fresh spring air, and soak up the beauty right on our doorstep? 🌼

🐐 Important Update from Tamar Community Trust 🐐

In an effort to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and embrace a more sustainable future, we’re delighted to announce that we have officially replaced all of our volunteers with goats.

Our new team are:
🌿 efficient at grounds maintenance
🌿 Fully eco-friendly
🌿 Slightly less reliable at making tea

Early feedback has been positive, although there have been a few minor challenges:

• Increased interest in eating paperwork
• Strong opinions about flowerbeds
• Absolutely no understanding of personal space

We appreciate your patience during this transition and ask that visitors avoid bringing snacks in their pockets.

If you see one of our new volunteers around, please give them a friendly wave (but hold onto your shoelaces).

Happy April Fools’ Day! 🐐

The days are getting longer, and you can feel the shift.

More light in the evenings, more people out and about, more chances for those small, everyday interactions.

A quick chat, a familiar face, a moment to check in—it all adds up.

That’s what community is made of.

🌱 Species Spotlight: Snowdrop

One of the first signs of life returning after winter, snowdrops are quietly appearing across the Tamar this month.

Small, resilient, and hopeful — a reminder that brighter days are on their way.
