🎖️ ‘Down Memory Lane’ with Johnny Cooper – One of the SAS Originals 🎖️

Join us for a remarkable afternoon of history, courage, and firsthand wartime experience.
📍 The Longlands Club
📅 Saturday 23rd May 2026
⏰ 1400hrs.

Step back into history with Johnny Cooper, one of the original members of the SAS raised by David Stirling in 1941.
At just 18 years old, Johnny volunteered for the SAS and went on to: • Conduct daring raids in North Africa
• Work alongside the French Maquis
• Help liberate Belsen
• Disarm German forces in Norway at the war’s end
• Lead anti-guerrilla jungle operations during the Malayan Emergency
• Serve in Oman, Africa and the Yemen “secret war”
This powerful pictorial presentation shares Johnny’s extraordinary life story — from the early desert raids to post-war operations — brought vividly to life through rare photographs and personal insight.
Johnny was recently featured in the BBC series SAS: Rogue Warriors, based on Ben Macintyre’s bestselling book SAS: Rogue Heroes.
