Hope you all had a great evening. We are all extremely exhaused now. Early signs show its been a record breaking one for us (will be confirmed soon if so).
We are all volunteers that have given up a number of hours and days to make tonight happen. Some travel around 2 hours to get here on a weekly basis. Spending their own time away from families, giving up their holiday from work and things just to make tonight happen.
We have had alot that said tonight has been great and enjoyed it. We accept it was busy, and it took time for people to get in. 1 of the reasons the gates opened earlier. When fireworks finish, and everyone decideds to leave at same time….there will be queues.
We have had a number of issues of people having a go, not only on here but also in person about the queues getting in and out. It is to be expected at such a large event. If you like please make yourselves known and come and help/volunteer for next year. We will accept all the help we can get. We dont bite and are a friendly group. See what happens and goes into making these events happen. We are not here for abuse. We have all worked stupidly hard to make it happen.
That being said, we have enjoyed it and hope we put on a great show, with one of the biggest bonfires we have ever done (5 weeks of building) so roll on next year and hopefully it will be even bigger and better again! Thank you all, time for us to relax and recover!

Well we are nearly all set for the gates opening at 3pm. We advise that you get here early so as not to get stuck in traffic. £2 per person no matter what age. Bonfire lit at 7pm, we aim to start the fireworks at 7.30pm. Free parking and loads of it. PLEASE do not park on the roadside verges for safety reasons. Beer tent, food stalls and fairground. Entertainment in the beer tent. Weather is looking good. We hope you enjoy the evening.

Countdown is on.....Just 2 more sleeps until one of the biggest bonfires we have ever built will be lit. Gates open at 3.00pm, and is £2 per person for any age. Small funfair will be available, food stalls and a beer tent. Dr Busker will be playing in the beer tent. We aim to light the bonfire at 7pm and the fireworks will start at 7.30pm. Free parking in the field next to the rally field. Post code for the rally field is NN6 8RB. Please can we ask that you do not park on the verges leading up to the field for safety reasons.

Throw back…. First picture is from last weekend (which we are still building this week) and the other, with the flag at the top, is from 2016! This is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, bonfire we have ever built!!

£2 per person, gates open 3pm on Saturday! We will go ahead no matter the weather. This bonfire will keep you warm for sure when it gets going.

Please DO NOT park on the roads as emergency access is required at all times and may delay proceedings for the evening.

Our Fish ‘n’ Chip unit will be open on Friday Evening for the Hollowell Bonfire Pre Party, The bar will also be open with the Park Royal Band on from 7:30pm onwards. Please note this is FREE ENTRY, All Welcome, Gates open from 6pm.

Our Fish ‘n’ Chip & Spud Units will both open at this year’s Hollowell Bonfire Party on Saturday, Gates open from 3pm, £2 Entry per person all ages.

Other catering units will be on site too!!

Another Saturday of building a bonfire and we have to say a huge bonfire. Probably one of the biggest we have even done. More work to be done tomorrow but for now they were fed and watered. A big thank you to all our volunteers that have helped over the last few weeks. This time next week we will be counting down until it is lit. Here's hoping the weather will be kind to us.

** PRE-Bonfire Party **
We are opening Friday 7th at 6pm for a pre bonfire party! We have the beer tent open and Park Royal Band will be playing from around 7:30-8:00. Everyone welcome to come along, free entry!! We're not certain about the availability of food vendors at the moment, but we'll provide an update closer to the event. Fish & chips has been confirmed.

Picture is the latest of our bonfire building progress, still more to build! Gates open on Saturday for bonfire at 3pm, £2 per person, beer tent, live music (Dr Busker), food and fairground open till late!
