Welcome to the University of Surrey Iranian Society. We are a non-profit, non-religious, non-political organisation. Our aim is to provide a platform for all students to feel welcome and to celebrate our wonderful Iranian culture and traditions. Throughout the year we hold various social events and activities in accordance with the Iranian Calendar. We encourage participation from all

cultures and backgrounds in order to explore the Iranian culture. All students (Persian and Non-Persian speakers) from all countries and universities are welcome to all our events! We look forward to seeing you all at our meetings and events. Committees of 2017-18 year:

Flood disaster in Iran reached a new level on Monday 25th March 2019 as Flash floods inundated the historic city of Shiraz in south-central part of the country, killing at least 17 people.

We are therefore asking for any donations to support recovery and relief efforts for this disaster.

Your generous donations will be used to provide survivors with emergency food, clean water, hygiene products, clothing, blankets and shelter
