Our usual parade nights are Monday and Thursday between 1900 and 2100. All are welcome so don't miss out on all the activities. We are also always looking for more staff to help out, no previous military experience needed, all training is provided. All you need is a willingness to help and the ability to commit.

Happy ! "Wait for Me, Daddy" captures five-year-old Warren "Wh**ey" Bernard, running out of his mother's grasp to his father, Private Jack Bernard.

The photo was taken by Claude P. Dettloff on 1 October 1940 of the British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own Rifles) marching in New Westminster.

Wh**ey's dad survived the European theatre in and came home in October 1945. One casualty of the war was Wh**ey’s parents' marriage; as Jack and Bernice Bernard eventually divorced.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures and mentors across the Sea Cadets Physical Training Branch! 💙

Today, we celebrate and thank all those who balance family life with their commitment to supporting and developing young people through Physical Training.

Whether you’re spending today with your family, on duty, volunteering at your unit, or remembering those who are no longer with us, we hope you have a day to be proud of.

The dedication, patience and leadership you show both at home and within our Branch helps inspire the next generation of cadets to grow in confidence, resilience and teamwork.

From everyone in the Sea Cadets Physical Training Branch, thank you for everything you do.

Wishing you all a very Happy Father’s Day! 👏

Thank you so so much to all the staff that came along to help and support. A cheesy thing to say but these things do not happen without this support (Spaces for more volunteers, if you're reading this and feeling left out 😉).

Cadets were also congratulated on their behaviour; always friendly, helpful well behaved and courteous. They are real ambassadors for the unit.

And they’re off! ⚓

Adam( Reigate unit) and Alex beginning their offshore week aboard TS Royalist.

Friends since birth, now making memories at sea together - despite different schools and different Sea Cadet units, they always find their way back onto an offshore adventure together each year.

What an incredible opportunity for them both.

Today we remember the men and women involved in the great crusade and the largest amphibious operation in history.

Crew of HMS Dragon took time during operations in the Arabian Sea to pay a traditional flight deck tribute to all those involved in and Operation Neptune.

It was an honour to support as His Majesty The King presented new colours.

Several hundred troops marched through Windsor, from Victoria Barracks, up to Windsor Castle where the private presentation ceremony took place in the Castle Quadrangle.

The last time the Royal Marines received new Colours was in 2001.

BZ Cadets. You did us proud. 🫡
