DID YOU KNOW OUR SCOUTING ADVENTURE DOESN’T END AT 14?
You’ll often see us posting about all the fantastic things our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts get up to- but did you know that through our partnered Pegasus Explorer Scout Unit, we also provide Scouting for young people aged 14-18?
Pegasus Explorers has recently been relaunched, is now meeting every Monday evening from 7:15pm-9:15pm, and has spaces for new members.
The Explorers have been busy planning their own programme for the term, and this Monday they’ve decided to start with something a little bit different...
PEGASUS ESU PARTY NIGHT
Think back to the birthday parties of your childhood.
Party Rings. Iced Gems. Pink wafers. Crisps. McDonald’s party boxes. Banners. Colouring-in tablecloths. And, of course, party games.
Pegasus is bringing all of it back for one night - with an Explorer twist.
The games are getting supersized!
What happens when Hungry Hungry Hippos becomes a game where the Explorers are the hippos? Or when Battleships gets taken off the tabletop and turned into a giant game?
They’re going to find out.
It might be aimed at teenagers, but for two hours there is absolutely no requirement to act your age!
Monday | 7:15pm-9:15pm
For young people aged 14-18
Cost £3
You don’t need to have been a Beaver, Cub or Scout to join Explorers. New members are very welcome, and existing Explorers are encouraged to bring a friend along and show them what it’s all about.
So, if your son or daughter has grown up through our Group and is wondering what comes next- Pegasus ESU is here.
And if you know a 14-18 year old who has never tried Scouting before but might enjoy making friends, trying new things and having some slightly ridiculous adventures along the way, please share this with them.
Drop us a message if they’d like to come along and give Pegasus Explorers a try.
