The James Clifford Campling Trust would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Robbie Brownlee for organising a fantastic race day in memory of his best man and dear friend, Mark Quickfall.

JCCT was honoured to support Mark and his family following his diagnosis with an aggressive glioblastoma in April 2026. Having previously supported the charity himself, Mark understood only too well the importance of funding vital brain tumour research. Tragically, he passed away in September, leaving behind family, friends and a community who loved him dearly.

A passionate sports fan with a particular love of horse racing, Mark organised many race days over the years. It was therefore a fitting tribute for Robbie to bring together 60 of Mark's former colleagues, family and friends to celebrate his life in a way he would have truly enjoyed.

The day was generously supported by local businesses, with guests simply asked to make a donation to JCCT. Together, they raised an incredible £2,723 to help fund brain tumour research and support families facing this devastating disease.

Thank you to Robbie, everyone who attended, the businesses who supported the event, and all those who donated. Your generosity is a wonderful tribute to Mark's life and will help ensure his legacy continues to make a difference.
