The GiB team would like to thank the staff and students from College for being on site yesterday and helping us with some jobs. Over 100 sunflowers were planted, the front planters given a coat of paint. Trips around the surrounding streets accumulated in 5 full bags of litter.

We will be open tomorrow (Saturday) for our repair cafe 10am until 2pm, so you will be able to pick it up then.

Grimsby In Bloom what a beautiful place. There’s not many places that have had such an amazing transformation over the years but Grimsby In Bloom certainly has. This video shows just how beautiful it is with Elaine talking about the different areas within the grounds. The flowers are blooming in every way possible and the newly arrived Bees are absolutely thriving. The volunteers work tirelessly to keep it ship shape. The cafe on site has amazing high quality hot food and cold food aswell as delicious cakes. The cafe is open Monday to Thursday and if we can get any more volunteers we could also open Friday. Prices in the cafe are kept nice and low so affordable for all. There is also the beautiful outdoor space where we have some lovely seating areas we can enjoy when the sun is shining. Why not pop along and see us have a drink and explore the beautiful grounds 🥰

Fantastic news our cafe at Grimsby In Bloom is now open Monday-Thursday. It would be so lovely to see you all back with us again. We offer great quality food for low cost prices. And we have some pretty spectacular cakes aswell 😍😍😍

Grimsby in Bloom are seeking the support of a local business or individual who may be willing to sponsor the hire of two vehicles for our judging days this year.

The vehicles will be used to transport judges around Grimsby during our East Midlands in Bloom judging day on Wednesday 8 July and, most importantly, for the National Britain in Bloom Finals on Thursday 13 August.

It is a tremendous honour for our In Bloom community to represent East Midlands in Bloom at the national finals, and we are proud to showcase the hard work and dedication of our volunteers and local supporters.

While we appreciate that asking for a specific amount may not always be appropriate, a contribution of £200 towards vehicle hire would be gratefully received. Any donation, large or small, would be sincerely appreciated and would help us greatly.

As a thank you, all sponsors will be acknowledged and recognised on our social media channels.
