💚 Gymnastics through the eyes of a coach!

A little behind-the-scenes look at some of our Grimsby evening sessions, captured from a slightly different perspective! 🤸‍♀️

Nicky has been trying out her new Meta smart glasses, giving you the chance to see what our coaches see during sessions, from supporting skills and offering encouragement to celebrating those little achievements!

📹 All gymnasts have been informed, and a visible light indicates when the glasses are recording.

We hope you enjoy seeing a little more of what goes on through the eyes of our coaches! 💚

💚 A little thank you that meant so much!

A huge thank you to Paisley and her mum for surprising Nicky and Mina with such a thoughtful little gift to say thank you for the competition! 🥹

Paisley has been part of the Twist & Flip family since preschool, so seeing her take part in her very first external competition was such a proud moment!

She did brilliantly, as did all of our wonderful gymnasts who took part! 🌟

It’s little gestures like these that remind us just how special our gymnastics community is. Knowing that the time, effort and care that goes into creating these opportunities is appreciated really does mean the world.

Thank you again, Paisley and family! 💚

What a weekend in Essex High 10 Events🤸‍♀️💚

Reeva, Paisley, Sara, Evelyn and Riley took part in their first-ever external competition, having previously only competed at our in-house events. What a fantastic way to take that next step!

With over 15 other clubs competing and more than 100 children in each round, split into age categories, this was a big experience. Some categories had over 30 gymnasts, and we’re so proud of how all five represented Twist & Flip! 🌟

Reeva, Paisley and Sara did brilliantly and have so much to be proud of! A special congratulations to:

🥇 Evelyn: 1st on floor, joint 1st on vault and 1st overall!
🥇 Riley: 1st on floor, 1st on vault and 1st overall!

And to make the day even more memorable, they all met Max Whitlock! During their rest break, each gymnast had an individual photo with him and got their competition number signed. They also came away with goodies, including a T-shirt and keyring! 🤩

A huge thank-you to Mina, who supported the gymnasts as they went round, and Nicky, who judged. Days like these take time, preparation and commitment, and we’re so grateful for the effort you both put into giving our gymnasts these opportunities. 💚

And a massive thank-you to all the parents and carers who brought the children to Essex! It’s a long trek, and your time, encouragement and support mean so much. You’re all superstars for helping make these experiences possible! 🌟

Please join us in congratulating all five superstar gymnasts and showing Mina, Nicky and our supportive families some appreciation in the comments! 👏💚
