A new Christmas market in town🎄

A new Christmas market in town🎄

🎄 TODAY IS THE DAY, GRIMSBY!

The very first Grimsby Christmas Village is now open in Riverhead Square ✨

We are so excited to welcome everyone into the town centre today as Grimsby’s first ever traditional Christmas Market opens its doors. This is something completely new for our town — and a brilliant opportunity to support local makers, enjoy festive food and drink, and bring some Christmas magic into the heart of Grimsby.

Over the next ten days, Riverhead Square will be transformed into a festive winter village, complete with:

✨ Beautiful wooden Christmas chalets
🎁 Local gifts and handmade treasures
☕ Mulled wine, gingerbread lattes and hot festive drinks
🍴 Seasonal street food from mac and cheese to footlong fries
🎶 Christmas music throughout the week
⛺ A cosy Scandinavian teepee to warm up and enjoy the atmosphere

And don’t forget — Santa will be visiting on Monday 1 December 🎅

This is a brand new event for Grimsby, created with the hope that it will grow into an annual Christmas tradition our whole community can enjoy. The more we support it, the more likely it is to come back bigger, better, and even more magical next year.

So wrap up warm, bring your family and friends, and come and explore the very first Grimsby Christmas Village.
