We bring high-quality, meaningful arts and heritage experiences to the people of North East Lincolnshire, transforming local communities into communities inspired and excited by arts and heritage. We deliver positive experiences where nobody is excluded, including exhibitions in public spaces, workshops, heritage events, and online activities and art communities. Art in the Yard, the festive edition 🎄

We had such a brilliant time supporting the local arts & cultural sector with our first yard sale that we’ve squeezed in another one - Saturday 28th November, 3-7PM in the Yard at Our Big Picture!

We’re looking for artists, creatives, makers, musicians and food & drink sellers to make this a magical event to support arts & culture in the heart of Grimsby!

Did you know 13th-century painted glass was discovered right here, beneath one of the oldest streets in Grimsby? This half-term we’re bringing the town’s hidden medieval story back to life, and you’re invited.

GY28 Town Hall Tours. As part of our Young People’s consultation for Grimsby Town of Culture we connected students from St James School to the history of our Town Hall to kick start the creative conversation!

We were honoured to meet deputy mayor Robson Augusta in the mayors parlour before exploring the town hall and learning about our past. We then explored the Assembly Room and the Council Chambers where big decisions are made before focusing on big ideas for Grimsby’s future 💥

How incredible are these paper town models made at last weeks Art of Play workshop in Laceby?

Working with artist Hollie Fuller the young artists explored local landmarks in Our Town and 3D paper construction. We think these are absolutely brilliant!

We love delivering creative workshops in Laceby, it’s wonderful to connect with our wider young creative community.

Our next workshop in Laceby is Saturday 17th October and we’ll be getting messy with clay with Turnpenney Pottery. This is not to be missed!
