⚜️Great and 🍁

Scouts from 2nd Immingham Scout Group, 5th Grimsby Scout Group and 6th Cleethoups Scout Group teamed up last weekend at Primrose Hill campsite to put their back to basics camping and bushcraft skills to the test. Cooking on open fires, making traditional camp gadgets and designing, and building their very own shelters.

The real challenge? Sleeping in them overnight!

⛺️Some of the Scouts swapped a cozy tent for sleeping in their shelter🍂 On a crisp autumn night under the cover of the trees it transforms a routine camping trip into a real-life survival adventure.

⚜️2nd PLACE AT THE WOLDS CHALLENGE! 🥈

A massive congratulations to the Explorer Scout team who last weekend placed 2nd at the Wolds Challenge! 🧭

🥾The Wolds Challenge is a great single-day outdoor timed navigation and route-finding competition testing teamwork, resilience, map-reading and endurance across the rolling terrain of the Yorshire Wolds.

Our Explorer teams joined teams from across Humberside Scouts to take part and we couldn't be more proud of the 2nd place achievement for GY&C1 with a time of 05:34:00 👏 😀

We'll done to all the teams who took part and a shout out to the winning team ECBExplorers1 with an impressive time of 04:27:00 🙃

🙌 A huge thank you to the organising team, marshals, and volunteers who make this fantastic annual event happen.

A fabulous

🌥Shorter Days, Earlier Sunsets: No Problem for Scouts ⛺️

The sun may be setting earlier and the air getting crisper, but our Scouts are still out there pitching tents, building campfires, and mastering new skills.

🌠Darker evenings are a great excuse for getting out the head torches🔦. They mean better stargazing, brighter campfires 🔥and greater challenges.

Over the coming weeks we look forward to sharing some of the enjoyed by Scout Groups and members across N E Lincolnshire.

Would you like your child to join the adventure, or thinking about volunteering yourself? We are always looking for new members and leaders to join the fun!
