Last few weeks at Flourish….Rick got grimsby town disability football teams managers player of the year. Well done Rick. We celebrated Christina’s and Morgen’s birthday. Morgen got artist of the week. We still have the exhibition of the clients work at Cleethorpes library and there has been great feedback from the public. We had a visit from Nigel Oliver and Nick Middleton from the council. Lovely to meet you both and look forward to working with you in the future. We also had a visit from Linda,Paul and guide dog Opal. Linda has kindly offered her support in raising funds for the minibus , which will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Linda. Another great meeting last night with councillor Janet Goodwin who has put us forward for some ward funding , again towards our mini bus. We really appreciate your support. Thank you Janet. Another exciting week at Flourish. We celebrated Rhys and Jacks birthdays. Spent some time at the allotment doing the wild pond area, thanked Rachel for covering training sessions with Flourish. We met the deputy mayor and deputy mayoress who came for lunch on Wednesday, lovely to meet you both and hopefully you will pop in again. We met an amazing young man called Andrew from Envison Fitness, who spent the day with us and we are going to do some projects with him moving forward. Thank you as always for everyone that supports us. Much appreciated 💪

Flourish are biking 400 MILES this weekend to raise money for a new minibus!

Last year, we completed 300 miles cycling round King George Stadium for brilliant local charities.

This time we’re increasing our target and hoping to raise money for Flourish, to get a much needed minibus! This would allow us to all travel together as a group, making trips and outings so much more accessible. We love getting out and about in the community, and a minibus would make it a lot easier.

Last week Flourish went to landmark cafe and we celebrated Jack Wheatley birthday. Kofi Smiles from radio humberside popped in to see us and to find out about the charity bike ride on Saturday ,and asked us about our preparation training for the 400 miles 🚴🚴‍♀️. We also demonstrated how to make non toxic toothpaste and Kofi made some himself. Kofi is an inspiration and a great person 🪥🦷
