Feed the Community

Feed the Community we are a local charity who offer food parcels to those in need within grimsby/cleethorpes In the first day she raised £30.

Feed the Community was created on the 25th October 2020 by the Founder and CEO (Lacey) after hearing about how many children would be affected by the school dinner cuts. She realised she was one of many people who can afford to feed her children and how not everyone is in the same situation as her. She wondered if she could make a difference, this is when Feed the Community-Grimsby & Cleethorpes w

as born. Since the creation of Feed the community it has grown faster then expected, Feed the community has helped so many people. As of April 2021, Feed the Community has done the following-
- Helped numerous families within the local area with food parcels
- Currently in the process of becoming a registered charity.
- Have raised funds through our Auction page and raffle page which helps generate income that enables us to help the local community
- We have a ‘slow cooker’ project where members of the community can see and learn new ways to use a slow cooker without spending a lot of money. As we grow we hope to do more to help the local community.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for a recent donation made in memory of a much-loved young woman. This generous contribution will help provide vital food parcels to individuals and families in our community facing hardship. On 11th march our community lost an angel sophie. She was a kind and memorable soul and will be greatly missed.

In her memory the staff at Grimsby hospital have come together to collect a massive food donation for our foodbank. We honestly cant believe how people come together in a time of need. We were honoured to know sophie and hope this will honour what she set out to do in life.
