People & Skills Pledge are recruiting on behalf of Friendship at Home (FaH) for a Community Link Worker.

This rewarding role involves coordinating and delivering a befriending service that supports older people across North East Lincolnshire.

24 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday)
£13.09 per hour

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle required

Today, we were delighted to celebrate a number of our CPG Health & Care Ambassadors, recognising the important role they play in supporting skills, learning, and employment opportunities across our community.

As part of the People and Skills Pledge, our ambassadors help champion the pledge's commitment to creating opportunities and supporting people to achieve their full potential through employment and community engagement.

We marked the occasion with the presentation of certificates and badges in recognition of their valuable contribution to strengthening skills and employability across North-East Lincolnshire.

The People & Skills Pledge are committed to helping employers invest in their workforce. Since launching, we've supported Carmand to secure apprenticeship levy transfers, helping team members develop new skills and progress their careers.

Most recently, funding has enabled Poppy to undertake a Level 5 Management qualification, supporting both her professional development and the continued growth of the organisation.

Speaking about the impact of the funding, Karl, Registered Manager at Carmand said:
"Carmand is strengthening its leadership capability and investing in the future of our workforce. This development will enhance Poppy's skills and confidence, supporting continuous improvement across our services. We are grateful to the People & Skills Pledge, who helped organise and manage this, and have also supported Karl, to enrol onto his Level 7 Chartered Management qualification."

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support vulnerable people across North East Lincolnshire to live safely and independently in their own homes. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help coordinate services, respond to enquiries, maintain records, and provide essential support to service users and their families.

24 hours per week
£13.20 per hour, increasing to £13.50 after probation

Members of our CPG Employability Team were delighted to attend a recent careers event at John Whitgift Academy, connecting with students from a range of year groups

Tracy, Employability Programme Coordinator, and Wesley, Employability Support Officer, spent the day showcasing the breadth of opportunities within Health and Social Care.

The event brought together a wide range of organisations, creating a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with partners who share a commitment to supporting young people and their futures. The team experienced inspiring conversations with students who were eager to learn more about the world of work and the positive impact a career in Health and Social Care can have on individuals and communities.

A big thank you to Katherine Atkinson and Kim Gough for organising such a successful event and for their ongoing dedication to connecting students with valuable careers guidance.
