Today at the Careers Cafe, come and talk to Paul and Matthew who are experts in every to do with setting up a business.

Taking place every year on 21 August, entrepreneur day acknowledges the hard work and dedication of entrepreneurs and business owners worldwide.

Starting a business is a big achievement but maintaining one is an even bigger challenge. It’s crucial that business owners have access to the right support and advice to be able to maintain and develop their companies.

Here until 12, come say hi and have a cuppa and a chat!!

Today at the Careers Cafe we have these lovelies available to support you!!

Angela, who delivers Careershift which is for anyone and is delivered over 6 weeks at the Careers Cafe, is available to chat this afternoon.

Karon, who works with those aged 18-24 via the DWP Youth Hub project is also around today until 4pm.

Lorraine runs CareerShift Boost for those aged 18-24 and has a couple of places available on tomorrow’s course!!

Evie got a job!!!!

We absolutely love these moments!! Evie came through to us as part of the Youth Hub delivery with DWP and then took part in CareerShift Boost which is a short intensive employability program over 4 days to boost skills for work with those aged 18-24.

Evie then had an interview with Innoflate and has secured a full time job! We are so proud of her!!

Vicki got a job!!!!

Vicki popped in a while ago feeling low due to pressures at work. She and Tracy had a long chat, updated Vicki’s existing CV and off she went.

Vicki then applied to Angelica (care company) and was interviewed and offered a job on the spot!!

She says ‘Careers Cafe gave me a kick up the bum I needed’ and we are always happy to oblige!!!

Good luck Vicki!!! First shift next Wednesday!!
