A significant milestone for Greatham Marsh

We are pleased to see the return of the tide to Greatham Marsh for the first time in more than 200 years, marking an important milestone in the Greatham Saltmarsh Restoration Scheme.

We are proud to have worked in partnership with the Environment Agency and Northumbrian Water on this important project, helping to restore valuable saltmarsh habitat, support wildlife and deliver lasting environmental benefits for the Tees Estuary.

We were delighted to support the Year 6 Leavers' Service at St John the Baptist Church in Greatham today, celebrating the wonderful pupils of Greatham Church of England Primary School.

It was a lovely service and a fitting way to mark the end of an important chapter for the Year 6 pupils as they prepare for their next adventure.
