Hate crime has no place in Greater Manchester.
This Greater Manchester Hate Crime Awareness Week, Citizens Advice Manchester is standing alongside our partners and communities to raise awareness, challenge prejudice, and support those affected by hate crime.
Hate crime can take many forms – including abuse, harassment or violence targeted at someone because of their race, religion, disability, sexual orientation or transgender identity. We know that many incidents go unreported, and we want people to know that they are not alone and support is available.
Our advisers are here to provide free, confidential and impartial advice, helping people understand their rights and access the support they need.
If you or someone you know has experienced hate crime, you can report it and get support through Greater Manchester’s reporting services or by speaking to an adviser at Citizens Advice Manchester.
Together, we can help create a city where everyone feels safe, respected and valued.
