Our level 1 in sport course is going great!

Yesterday the group conducted a walk around daisy nook, navigating from point to point, gaining evidence for teamwork sports & individual sports! We chose orienteering! 🥾

In the morning the students learnt how to read a basic map and highlighting different points on the map! Well done team 👏

Rain or shine, we keep moving 💪
This week our mentor and mentee took on a hike, pushing through wet and windy conditions and showing great resilience.

Let’s get those muscles pumping and endorphins flowing! At UKMM we have multiple staff members who are personal trainers and have exceptional knowledge in fitness which can be passed down to the young people 💪🏻

Cooking session with our level 1 in sport group, they was learning all about health and nutrition, so we put them to the test and got them to make a pizza with each component of the food chart 🍕 and we had cookies of course! Can’t forget about the sweet treat

The football museum is always a great session where the young people get to learn all about football through the times whilst interacting with all the interactive stations in the museum ⚽️

Happy Monday!
We’re kicking off 2026 the right way with our first hike of the year getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air 🏞️

We’re excited for what’s ahead at UKMM in 2026. Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! We hope you all enjoyed some well-deserved R&R over the festive period.

Now it’s time to hit the ground running and smash our goals 👏

As the end of term crept up, one of our mentors came up with a brilliant idea to sprinkle a little Christmas magic by donating food to our local food bank at 🎄✨

Our wonderful YP and staff pulled together, donating what they could from their own budgets and filling the boxes with festive kindness. And who better to deliver it all than Mr Grinch himself? Turns out even he can’t resist spreading a bit of Christmas joy! 💚🎁👏
