Hello everyone,
This probably won't come as a surprise due to our inactivity on here since September (although we have made further clothing pack donations to RMCH since then and have done other things behind the scenes) but we finally have made the difficult decision to begin the process of closing our Little Warriors' Wardrobe charity.
We have not taken our decision lightly, but honestly we just can't dedicate the time and effort it takes to run a charity any more due to new, and renewed, commitments we each have now that life has begun to settle into 'life after cancer'. We have to look after ourselves as well.
We still intend to personally support the charities that helped us along Josh's journey as much as we can, as an alternative way of giving back. We just hope you can all understand our decision is what is best for our family at this time.
Over the next few weeks we will be figuring out what to do with the charities assets and are happy to be open to our supporters suggestions if you have any! This includes an end of treatment bell that was intended as a bell that could be borrowed for family celebrations outside of hospital settings.
