Clarion Housing

Clarion Housing Clarion provides homes for those who need them most. We're one of the largest providers of social housing. Our house rules are clear.

Clarion Housing Group formed in 2016, following the merger between two of the country’s largest housing associations, Affinity Sutton and Circle Housing Group. With over 125,000 homes we will use our strength and scale to create opportunities that change peoples’ lives. We are also one of the biggest housebuilders in the country, and are set to build 50,000 high quality homes of all tenures during

the next ten years, as we remain committed to helping to tackle the housing shortage. Two thirds of these will be affordable homes, as we continue to help those in housing need. In addition to new homes, we transform existing communities through sustained regeneration, help people to access employment and training opportunities and give young people a better start in life. Earlier this year, we changed the language we use. We now say 'resident' instead of 'customer'.

This reflects our commitment to putting residents first and recognising the importance of language in shaping how people feel about their homes and communities.

Now, you have the opportunity to help shape the wider conversation. The new survey from Stop Social Housing Stigma is gathering views from across the housing sector, and your feedback could help influence how residents and communities are talked about in the future.

This International Youth Day, we're celebrating the power of play, creativity and community🎨

Over the past few months, children and young people across our communities have been getting creative, sharing their views and connecting with their neighbours.

In Anerley, Mottingham and St Mary's Cray, more than 80 children and young people joined artist-led Play and Spray workshops, transforming old ‘No Ball Games’ signs into colourful artwork while exploring painting, crafting and spray-painting techniques.

Over in Sutton Coldfield, residents came together for a community event at Ethelred Close, where children enjoyed games and creative activities and families shared feedback about their neighbourhood and were able to get support, advice and information.

Through these activities, children and young people have been able to learn new creative skills, build confidence, express themselves and connect with others, creating welcoming spaces where they feel heard, valued and free to play, learn and connect.

Happy International Youth Day from Clarion!

Happy National Playday! 🛝

Today we're celebrating Roman Road Adventure Playground in Bow, where children are enjoying everything that makes play so important.

Since opening in 2010, the playground has provided a safe, inclusive space where local children can make friends, build confidence, get active and let their imaginations run wild. Developed in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council and fully funded by Clarion Futures, it was the first adventure playground to be built by a housing association in England.

Whether it's climbing, creating, exploring or making new friends, it gives children the chance to learn through play, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors in a welcoming environment.

Enjoying the sunshine? If you're planning a BBQ, here's how to stay safe.

🔥 Open flames such as BBQs and fire pits can pose an even more significant fire risk during this long period of hot, dry weather. Never use them on a balcony or indoors, and never leave them unattended.

💧 Keep water, sand or a hose nearby in case of an emergency.

🏠 Keep BBQs and fire pits well away from buildings, sheds, fences, trees and dry grass.

♨️ Make sure your BBQ is completely cool before moving or disposing of it.

Remember in the event of a fire to call 999.

Your safety is our priority. A few simple steps can help protect you, your home, your neighbours and your community.
