🚀 Tonight’s the night. Artemis II is gearing up to punch through Earth’s atmosphere and blaze a path around the Moon — and we’re sending every ounce of luck to the crew as they make history.

And guess what… we’re going with them. Our name will be riding aboard on an SD card with 5 million others, tucked inside Orion as it loops around the Moon. A tiny piece of us on a giant mission. 🌙✨

Artemis II is scheduled to lift off at 11:24pm UK time tonight.

📣 Say hello to our new mascot!
He’s orange, he’s cheerful, and he’s officially joined the East Coast Truckers mascot team.

Trevor the Traffic Cone is our newest Convoy companion — complete with hi‑vis, a name badge, and a smile that says “I’m ready for the Convoy!”

He’s thrilled to be joining Enzo, Chloe and Tomo this year.
(He’s already asked for his own seat in the lead truck.)

Height: 62cm of pure enthusiasm
Weight: Light enough to blow over in a strong breeze

Happy Mother’s Day to every mum whose love lights the way, even on the days that feel heavy.

Today we honour the women who nurture, guide, and hold so much together — and we also hold close those missing their mum, longing to be one, grieving a child, caring for someone unwell, or carrying the ache of a relationship that hasn’t been simple. You’re seen, you’re loved, and you deserve gentleness today.

May this day bring a little warmth, a little hope, and the reminder that brighter moments are still ahead.

If you enjoy reading about, & seeing what the East Coast Truckers club members get upto throughout the year, why not become part of the East Coast Truckers Children's Charity & club yourself!

As a club we meet normally on the first Sunday of each month, at Bawburgh Village hall, Stocks hill, NR9 3LL, from 10am until 11am. The next meeting being held on Sunday 1st March.

Membership for the club is only £15 a year. You will also need to be DBS checked which costs approximately £12 a year.

Club members can then participate in, & benefit from various events held throughout the year such as a Dinner & Dance, trip out to the Greyhounds with a meal, trips to the Circus, the various fundraising events held throughout the year, our Filby funday, & most of all, the very famous "Convoy"!

You can also become part of the East Coast Truckers members page which is exclusive to members only!

If this all takes your fancy, & you want to know more, please come along to one of the meetings where you will be made very welcome.

Last night our members had their annual Christmas dinner and dance at the Oaklands Hotel in Thorpe St Andrews, Norwich.

We would like to thank all of the staff for an amazing meal and evening.
