Things are spreading fast at the Hemsby Lifeboat Charity Shop – quite literally! Our brand new range of preserves and jams is flying off the shelves quicker than you can say "pass the toast" 🍞

These fruity little beauties have proven berry popular, and it’s easy to see why – they’re delicious, and every jar helps support the lifesaving work of Hemsby Lifeboat 🚤

Rumour has it... our local ice cream vendor is eyeing up a batch for a top-secret summer sundae recipe. We can't confirm or deny – but we can say that now’s the time to grab yours before they disappear faster than the sun on a Bank Holiday ☀️🍨

Joking aside, thanks to your amazing support, we’ll keep the shelves well stocked – so don’t worry if you miss out today, we’ll jam the shelves again tomorrow!

"URGENT APPEAL":
Help Us Keep the Beach Access Safe!🚨
Hemsby Lifeboat Charity has recently invested, with some of the local traders on Beach Road, in a digger to help maintain the Gap entrance to the beach. With little meaningful support from local authorities, it's been left to us to ensure this critical access point remains open—not just for our lifeboat launches but also for the safety of the public and the continued success of our vital tourist industry, which supports our local economy.
Most of our funds are rightly earmarked for core search and rescue operations, but now we face an urgent need for additional support. We need to purchase a new ram track tensioner for our digger and, if possible, new tracks to keep the machine operational through the winter months, when the Gap is most at threat.
We are appealing to our amazing supporters to help us raise the funds for these essential repairs so we can continue to maintain the Gap and keep it safe for everyone. Every donation will make a difference, and your generosity means we can keep saving lives and supporting our community.
