So, last night the team had the pleasure of investigating The Old Annison Funeral Parlour, a very fascinating and historic venue in Hull.
Over the course of several vigils, we experienced some odd clicking noises (which could not be explained by electricity as we looked into this closely), knocks, people feeling burning sensations, mists, table movement, shadow movements, doors opening and a possible dvp (which we all heard but, at the time, couldn't decipher whether was paranormal or not), but overall, a fairly quiet night for us as it was all quite subtle...or so we thought! Upon listening back to the digital recorders, it appears we captured a lot more than we could have hoped for and validated the dvp that we all definitely heard and which we cannot explain. Plus we got to meet Spike the cat, who was such a cutie and who we all fell in love with...and he also helped us with our investigation after setting the K2 teddy bear off!
So, in conclusion, it was a fantastic night and we would definitely like to go back, but in the summer months next time, as it was flipping freezing! 🥶❄️🤣

Saturday 4th January the team got off to an early start investigating Trues Yard Fisher Folk museum in Kings Lynn.
It was a first for a few of us & what an interesting place.
It’s pretty deceiving from the front as to size as actually includes 2 cottages, a Smithy & Smoke house as well as the museum, cafe & research room.
We picked up several names which we later verified & one surname actually came through on the ovilus.
I personally had no idea part of it was once a pub & picked this up during one of our early sessions.
We got activity in the smithy, smoke house & research room but the cottages were quiet.
We will definitely rebook this location again.
Interesting to find out there is an Exorcists house nearby next to the church which we went and had a peak at on the way back to the car park.

Next stop Wisbech Castle in February.

So we’re off to investigate Gressenhall Farm museum tonight, a favourite of a few team members. I am personally looking forward to trying out some of the new kit I’ve bought as I’ve been eager to use it. It is true your body is your best piece of equipment but it’s good to use some modern technology to confirm what you’ve felt.
Be nice to see some friendly faces too as tonight is hosted by whom we haven’t seen for a while.
Here’s hoping for an active night.
