We want your drinks bottles! 📣

Join the fight against plastic pollution by helping us to collect 800 clean, empty drinks bottles which will be used to build a 'Bottle Ship'.💪

If you have any bottles that you would like to donate, drop them off at the SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth between 10am - 4pm, Monday - Sunday.🌊

If you or a loved one have received a cancer diagnosis then you may like to join our virtual World Cancer Day event being held on Friday, 4 February.

The event will highlight cancer services, including the support and help available for those affected by cancer, and is being organised by the hospital and partners including Macmillan Cancer Support, East Suffolk Council and Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

Goodbye!

As some of you know I am leaving GYBC on August 26th. I just wanted to say an open hearted thank you to every resident I have met over the last 7.5 years. You’ve been the best part of my job – full of character, support and kindness. I’ve loved working with my fantastic team and have such fond memories of events at Claydon Pavilion, groups at Cobholm Community Centre and the many sunny days at Community Roots. You’ve taught me so much, helped me grow and learn and I will be forever grateful for the wonderful people I have worked with. Thank you for everything you do for your community, you are the heartbeat for community activity and without you our neighbourhoods would be much worse off. Kicks in The Park at a location near you !
Premier League Kicks sessions will return to your area in the Summer Holidays with ‘Kicks in the Park’ With a maximum number of 40 YP at all of the venues.
We are running at 3 venues in the summer Holidays and they are all different from our previous centres near you They are: Peggotty Road Community Centre Gt Yarmouth, Barnards Bridge Gt Yarmouth (Gt Yarmouth Charter Academy Sports Field) Gorleston Recreation Ground (Opposite East Norfolk 6th Form College)
