Caister Community Sensory Garden - Come and help day next Saturday 🪴💐

Come and join us at Caister Playing Field on Saturday 21st March from 10:30am and lend a helping hand at our community sensory garden.

Lots to do, including the for the little ones with their very own tuff trays of mud and seed planting 🌼

Come in your scruffs and prepare to get stuck in, if you have a shovel at home bring it along to! 🙏

A great way for all the family to help the local community and get a sneak preview of all the new updates 😍

The VERY small team of volunteers really need our help. If we want these things, and more, to continue in Caister we all need to pull together. 😊

We had to bring a little Christmas cheer to Caister on.Caister Wonderlands "off year" ...

✨️ 🌟🎄LESS THAN 3 WEEKS UNTIL WE LIGHT UP CAISTER FOR CHRISTMAS!🎄🌟 ✨️

Join us from 4pm on Friday 5th December, at the bottom of Tan Lane, and inside the council hall for our MERRY MISTLETOE ✨️ - Mini Market & Light up Caister 🎄

👀 What can you expect?
🎅 A visit from Santa Claus with a free gift for the children, generously donated by AJ Trade Plastics Ltd (while stock lasts)
🏛 Over 20 hand selected festive stalls inside the council hall.
🛍 A bustling Highstreet, with local shops/businesses opening late for the occasion.
🌰 Festive food and drink galore
🎤 Live Singers, and school choirs performing all your Christmas favourites
🎺 Great Yarmouth Brass sure to get you in a jolly mood!
💃Local dancers putting on a festive show
🎁 Meet and Greet with the Grinch, lets hope he remembers his Christmas cheer!
🎄 Light switch on at 7pm with some special guests - big thank you to Batchelor Electrical Services for making sure we are ready to shine!

Yes, we know it's July ☀️

But these events take months of planning and December dates get booked up fast!

We are approaching a select number of stalls about the event, BUT if you think you offer something super special and wonderfully festive please reach out to us! 🎁

Last night at our Caister Festival - Day One/Caister Festival - Day Two volunteer meeting, we welcomed just ONE new volunteer. (Massive thank you to you Liz!!)

Thousands of you enjoy Caister Festival every year. However, we are now unfortunately evaluating the future of the event for next year and beyond.

This year, the event will proceed as planned. Our dedicated committee of volunteers, though small, is committed to ensuring its success.

Half of our little team are age 60+. The physical demands of the event, which we are very proud to have grown significantly over the last 4 years, combined with the preparation required in the week/s leading up to it, can be quite challenging - even for me in my 30's!

If you could dedicate just one hour of your time, it could make a significant difference for the future of the Caister Festival. Your support is invaluable and could help ensure its continued success.
