The Village Hall is situated along the B1022(Maldon to Colchester main road) in south Totham, opposite The Bull PH and next to the cricket pitch. History:
The Hall was built around 1930 and designed by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo, a progressive English architect and designer, who was strongly influenced by the Arts and Crafts Movement. Governance:
The hall is a registered charity (no.248492) and is m

anaged by a group of Trustees together with a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. All trustees are volunteer and give their time to provide a facility for the local and surrounding community. Committee Contact Details:

Facilities:

Main Hall: Large main hall, with stage, accommodating 100 people. Kitchen and Utility Rooms: Large kitchen with dual sinks, refrigerator, microwave and oven. Utility area with urn and sink. Both areas have a serving hatch to main hall. Committee/Meeting Room: Small room available to hire - accommodation for 20 people. Chairs and tables included in hire if required. Internal Facilities: Four Toilets, including disabled facilities and baby changing unit. External facilities: Large car park with a capacity of 40 cars, plus disabled parking.

Only one week until the Great Totham Gardening Club Spring Show! Get your entries in by 7pm on Thursday, 19th March or come along during the afternoon of Saturday, 21st March to enjoy the exhibits with a cuppa and cake.

We have a lovely light and spacious well equipped hall available to hire for parties, weddings, social events and clubs.
