Theatre Trip - 'Hadestown', a Tony Award-winning musical based on a Greek mythic love story.

I've provisionally booked a 53 seater coach for Thursday 12th November to see a Matinee performance for 2.30pm at the Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

Cost of ticket - £65

Pick up from Marks Tey Hotel @ 9.45am if you wish to park there you must contact them direct.

Second pick up - Great Tey Village Hall @ 10am.

Advisable to park in Great Tey School car park in case there are any groups using the hall for the day/evening.

I will need payment by 24/7/26 as the booking company has reserved the tickets at a good price.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our WI 60th Birthday Celebration such a wonderful occasion.

To all who attended, volunteered, organised, decorated, baked, entertained, and supported the event in so many ways, your enthusiasm and generosity made the evening truly special.

We are proud of all that our WI has accomplished over the years and grateful to every member, past and present, who has contributed to its success. Thank you for helping us mark this milestone with such warmth, laughter, and memorable moments!

Good afternoon!

We are excited to announce our upcoming activities with our local Women’s Institute. We’ve a busy programme ahead this year so lots to look forward to!

Join us on the first Tuesday of the month at Great Tey Village Hall @7:30pm.

We can’t take any new members at the moment until September so please bear this in mind but we still welcome non members to our meetings at a cost of £5.

Next Tuesday @ 7.30pm we’re celebrating 60 years at Great Tey with a live singer Chris Bishop ‘short songs & tall stories’ there’ll be fizz & food so come along & enjoy the fun! 🥂 🎶
Former WI members are very welcome to come along!

Theatre Trip - ‘The Producers’

Norma Tregoning has passed the baton onto me to organise future theatre trips.

With that in mind for my first trip, I’ve provisionally booked a 53 seater coach for Thursday 26th March to see a Matinee performance @ 2.30pm of ‘The Producers’ adapted from the Mel Brooks comedy classic at The Garrick Theatre, London.

Cost of ticket £65.

Pick up from Marks Tey Hotel @ 9.45am if you wish to park there you must contact them direct.
