🐰SHASA news!!🐰

Today we are launching the bunny run for another year: on Wednesday 18th March at 2:40pm all the children will be challenged to complete a 10 minute run on the school playground, which you are invited to come along to support!

This year we are using a fantastic new online platform so that we can collect sponsorships both via online payments and through traditional cash donations. https://shasa.fundraisy.co.uk/

On Wednesday 18th March at 2:40pm, our children will take part in the SHASA Sponsored Bunny Run, wearing their decorated Easter bandanas.

This week it’s our used clothes collection!

Donations accepted on Thursday 29th for collection on the morning of Friday 30th January.

The posters are all a bit wet, but rest assured we would still be very grateful of any contributions to be dropped to the community room at school.

SHASA are planning to hold a pre-loved costume sale in aid of Somerfords’ Walter Powell School, in time for World Book Day on the 6th of March. We would be very grateful for donations of any outgrown kids’ dressing up costumes that you might have hanging around! Our pre loved clothing collection at SWP school this week. Please drop your bags to the community room on Thursday 30th or before 9am on Friday 31st January.

🧁 Our ‘Nativity Cake Sale’ raised over £200 last week, thank you for all who baked and bought those goodies 🙌

🎄 Our Christmas Raffle raised nearly £700!!! What can we say, thank you to all the wonderful businesses who donated prizes to our cause and to our wonderful parent body who both bought, and sold tickets on our behalf 👏
