We have so much to do on the evening that we don't have enough time to get good pictures of our incredible machines. We are looking for great pictures to use for our media streams and to give to local newspapers to highlight our village convoy.

Yes ...... It's almost here!!!
🧑‍🌾🎅🚜🚜🚛🚜

The Great Leighs Christmas Convoy will be making it's way through the village just after 5pm on Christmas Eve, all we ask is.....

- Park sensibly and responsibly! there is plenty of places through the village to safely park and watch the event from the Green Dragon down to the village hall! 🚗🚕🏎️

- Stay Safe! Our vehicles are all shapes and sizes so please do not get too close or try to approach them! 🚜🚛🚑🚌

- Have Fun! Please give our drivers and operators a big wave and spread the Christmas cheer! 🧑‍🌾🎅

Remember our little elves will be collecting for the amazing Farleigh hospice! If you want to donate please have change and cash ready as they will be whizzing through the village alongside Father Christmas on his sleigh!! 😁🎅

Last year we raised over £3000 which was donated to the neonatal unit at Broomfield 💝

With that money they bought a video laryngoscope!
An amazing piece of medical equipment which can make all the difference in those emergency situations and help save lives 💕

This year we are raising money for...
Farleigh Hospice 💗

Farleigh Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care for adults with life-limiting illnesses (like cancer, heart/lung disease, dementia) and bereavement support for all ages in mid Essex, helping patients live well with symptom control, therapies, emotional/spiritual support, and care at home or in their 10-bed inpatient unit, alongside support for families and carers, all funded partly by charity shops and events.

I am sure there is many of us in and around the village that has had the support from this amazing organisation.

Obviously Santa's little elves will have their buckets ready to collect donations on the night however if anyone would like to here is the just giving page to donate to 🥰 thank you for all your support!
