⛳️🏆 PUTTING: SERIOUS BUSINESS. APPARENTLY. 😏

Great night last night at Golf World Stansted for a bit of healthy 41 Club competition on what can only be described as one of the finest 1066-themed putting courses in the land. ⚔️⛳️

There was tension.
There was questionable technique.
There were moments of genuine brilliance.

And, somehow, some of the finest putting ever witnessed on a Battle of Hastings themed course. 😂

It was a closely fought contest right to the end…

Modesty prevents me from saying who won. 😏🏆

Thanks to everyone who came along — great company, plenty of laughs and exactly what a club night should be.

Good times, great club. 👊

🔥🍔 THAT’S A WRAP! 🌭❤️

What a brilliant couple of days at the Countess of Warwick Country Show.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came over, queued up, bought a burger, sausage or pulled pork roll, had a chat and supported the Great Dunmow Round Table & Great Dunmow 41 Club charity BBQ.

It was genuinely great to see so many familiar faces — and plenty of new ones too. The grills barely stopped, the team worked their socks off, and despite the occasional bit of very British weather, spirits stayed high! 😂☔️🔥

We’re still counting everything up, but we’re hopeful that your support has helped us raise a fantastic amount for local good causes. ❤️

A massive thank you as well to the organising team behind the Countess of Warwick Show for putting on such a brilliant event. What a show, what a crowd, and what a great atmosphere all weekend.

And of course, thanks to dunmow.young.farmers next door for doing sterling work keeping the team hydrated throughout. 🍺😂

🔥🍔 DAY 1 — DONE! 🌭👏

What a brilliant first day at the Countess of Warwick Country Show!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came over to see Great Dunmow 41 Club and Great Dunmow Round Table, grabbed some food, had a chat and helped us raise money for good causes. ❤️

The grills were busy, the pulled pork was flying out, burgers and sausages were disappearing at an impressive rate… and being positioned next to the Young Farmers b**r tent continued to prove an outstanding piece of strategic planning. 🍺😂

We’ve had a cracking day — but we’re not finished yet…

🌭🔥 COME AND FIND US AT THE COUNTESS OF WARWICK COUNTRY SHOW! 🔥🍔

This August Bank Holiday, Great Dunmow 41 Club & Great Dunmow Round Table are joining forces to run the CHARITY BBQ at the brilliant Countess of Warwick Country Show at Little Easton Manor! 🙌

We’ll be firing up the grills and serving:

🐷 Pulled Pork
🍔 Burgers
🌭 Sausages

…and it’s all locally sourced produce — because if you’re going to eat a slightly inappropriate amount of BBQ food, you may as well support local at the same time. 😎

📍 You’ll find us right next to the Main Ring, conveniently positioned beside the brilliant Young Farmers B**r Tent.

Frankly, we couldn’t have planned that location better if we tried. 🍺😂

Even better, it’s all being done to raise money for charity, so grab some food, grab a b**r next door, enjoy the show and help us raise a few quid for good causes along the way.

The Countess of Warwick Country Show runs on Sunday 30th & Monday 31st August, 10:30am–5pm, with classic cars, animals, tractors, live music, arena events, the dog show, children’s activities and loads more. Get your tickets in advance!

Another fantastic evening of friendship, laughter and great conversation as members of 41 Club came together at The Compasses in Littley Green.

It was brilliant to catch up with familiar faces, welcome plenty of banter, enjoy some excellent food and drinks, and make the most of a warm summer evening in a fantastic setting.

41 Club is all about keeping the camaraderie alive long after Round Table, and evenings like this are exactly what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to The Compasses Inn for their warm hospitality.

Here’s to the next get-together! 🍺🍽️

🍻 Dunmow 41 Club: 1 — GDRT: 0 🍻

A superb evening was had by Dunmow 41 Club at the The Belgian Brewer Bishop’s Stortford… and let’s be honest, it was a decisive 41 Club win.

Not only did our epic Chairman, Carl Mitchell, manage to organise a piss-up in a literal brewery before Great Dunmow Round Table, he also somehow upgraded it into an Interclub meeting with Stortford 41 Club and Round Table.

That’s leadership. That’s vision. That’s probably Belgian b**r talking.

And because one venue clearly wasn’t enough, the evening even rolled on to an after-party at De La Terre in Dunmow.

Good times. Great b**r. Even better club. 😎🤩

Exciting news 🤩, Andys Man Club is opening in Great Dunmow. 🙌🏼

Andysmanclub Great Dunmow Essex is opening 6th July, 7pm-9pm at The Maltings Museum, Great Dunmow. 👍🏼

And will be every Monday night except for bank holidays. ✅

Last night, 41 Club gathered at De La Terre for an evening of fine food, great company, and a fascinating talk from Tim Turner on “Fakes and Forgeries.”

Thankfully, we can confirm the food was genuine, the conversations were authentic, and the laughter was 100% original.

Tim gave a brilliant talk that had us all questioning what was real, what was fake, and whether having both Jon Clark and John Clark in the same room was simply an elaborate forgery in itself.

A huge thank you to De La Terre for the amazing food and hospitality, and to everyone who came along for another excellent evening of friendship, discussion and good humour.

We meet a couple of times a month, enjoy great social evenings, and work together with our friends and Great Dunmow Round Table to make a positive impact in Dunmow.

So, if you’re looking to meet new people, enjoy good company, and get involved in something worthwhile locally, come and join us.
