Last night was our annual general meeting which celebrated all of our achievements over the past year.

35 of us packed into The Starr Inn Dunmow for fantastic food and lots of laughs.

Well done to Paul for a fantastic year at the helm as our Chairman. And good luck to Carl for the year ahead as our new Chairman.

We also welcomed a couple of new members, so welcome to Ben and Chris.

Some exciting plans for the next year, once again working closely with Great Dunmow Round Table.

On the 29th April, Dunmow Round Table is hosting a charity quiz night at Casa Great Dunmow 🧐

All proceeds will be going to the amazing charity Young Lives vs Cancer, a charity that is really close to our hearts in Round Table ❤️

The cost is £50 per team of 6, it promises to be a fantastic night, food and drink will be available at Casa, 🍻 🍷 🍸

What a great night with Great Dunmow 41 Club! 🍻

A fantastic turnout with 27 of us from 41 Club, Great Dunmow Round Table and five guests/prospective new members — always great to welcome new faces!

A huge thanks to David (x3) for a brilliant behind-the-scenes look at the realities of farming, the highs, the lows and his struggles with wind 💨 🤣

Safe to say many of us learnt a lot… and now have a whole new respect for how much work goes into producing our food! 🌾🚜

We also heard a powerful talk from Colin at Andys Man Club about the incredible work they do supporting men’s mental health. An inspiring cause and one we’re proud to support, and a discussion on how great it would be to see a club in Dunmow.

Throw in great food at The Swan Inn at Felsted , a few drinks, Greg’s always entertaining international report from his travels in Africa, and plenty of laughs — another cracking evening.

Last night we headed up to see our friends at Saffron Walden 41 Club for their Men at the Mocha event! ☕🍳

Friendships, fry-ups and proper conversations on men’s wellbeing – exactly what it’s all about.

We were joined by the 41 Club National President Jason, and Alex from Andys Man Club, the amazing organisation focused on removing the stigma around male su***de, and getting blokes talking. ITSOKAYTOTALK!! 👌🏻

AMC groups meet across the country on Monday evenings, and the local ones to Dunmow are Chelmsford, Harlow and Cambridge, although it would be great to see one in Dunmow in the future.

A big shout-out too to Guy for a brilliant and engaging talk on mindfulness 🧠

Great food, great company and meaningful conversation – nights like this remind us why being Stronger Together really matters. 💪🏻👌🏻🍳
