It is the Friends of All Saints Church AGM today (Tuesday) at 7.30pm in the Church. Over the last 8 years the Friends has raised over £30,000 to help keep the Church in good condition for the future. The need for funds never stops as our village church is centuries old, historic and a large building.
So we need others now to step forward to take the Friends forward once more. Our activities are usually 3 or 4 events a year plus acquiring regular givers. We are a non-denominational group and you do not need to be a churchgoer to be part of it. You may be new to the village or have lived here for some time. Our purpose is simply to ensure that the church building is fit for use for all kinds of events - regular ones and special occasions. Most importantly to make sure it is available when YOU need it.
We seek your help now to bring fresh enthusiasm to the task. Will you help? If so please come to the church tomorrow at 7.30pm. You will be made very welcome.
