These rooms not only benefit the children and young adults, but also their families, carers, staff and volunteers. Together For Cinema has comprehensive support and backing from our industry, hence all products and installation services are donated. Increasingly there are other opportunities presenting themselves that show there is much more than can be done, be it linking up international AV comp

anies with good causes or recycling second hand AV equipment it is clear there is the need for an industry conduit to liaise with good causes in the UK. Quite simply Together For Cinema is a pure and unquestionable good.

49 riders. 55 miles. 6 spaces left.

This September, Team TFC will take on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise funds for TFC.

We currently have 49 brilliant riders signed up, and we are looking for 6 more to complete the team.

Our goal is simple: 55 riders for 55 miles.

Could you be one of them?

Join Team TFC and help us turn every mile into support for our work.

We are very lucky to have so much support from the AV industry for Together For Cinema but we know that not everyone has spare AV equipment that they are able to donate for our cinema rooms in hospices. or may not be able to provide installers to help make the cinema rooms a reality.

Together For Cinema are very fortunate to have riders fundraising for our London to Brighton bike ride this year and we are hoping to hear of other sponsorship ideas tp help fund these amazing spaces for families to come together at a difficult time and enjoy the 'family film night'. Maybe you've been putting off that parachute jump? Or a sponsored film night is in the pipeline?

For those who want to support our cause but who don't have a spare projector nor want to run a marathon (!), please donate through our new process via the DONATE button on our website.

Maybe your children's school are looking to support a worthwhile initiative or perhaps that one off donation will help our cause?

Please spread the word so we can continue our work. We believe Together For Cinema is a force for pure good.

On International Nurses Day, we recognise the incredible nurses and care professionals who create supportive, compassionate environments every day.

At Together For Cinema, we see first hand the difference these spaces make to people in care settings, hospices and hospitals. Creating comforting environments where people can relax, connect and enjoy shared experiences is only possible because of the dedication of those who care for others.

Thank you for everything you do.

• Ronald McDonald House Charities United Kingdom in Southampton
• Marie Curie UK Hospice, Solihull

We look forward to keeping you posted on all progress.

We can't do all of this without you.

The constant support from the AV industry enables us to achieve our goals so thank you!

Fundraising for Together For Cinema doesn’t come in one format.

It’s 55 miles from London to Brighton.
Or York to London, then Brighton straight after.
Or 1,000 miles across Europe.
Or six marathons in six days in the Sahara.

But it’s also a golf day.
A pool tournament.
A coffee morning.
A cake sale.

That’s the whole point.

There’s no perfect way to get involved. No minimum standard. No “right” challenge.

Just people deciding to do something.

Because when enough people do that, it adds up to something that genuinely makes a difference.

So if you’re thinking about it, stop thinking.

Back on the bike for a great cause 🚴‍♂️

After missing last year through injury, Jeremy Brown, Sales Director, AV EMEA, is back riding in this year’s London to Brighton in support of Together for Cinema.

"After missing last year through injury, I’m proud to be back on the bike for Together for Cinema, riding with the AV industry to help bring the magic of cinema to children’s hospices, with a few lively debates with industry friends and competitors along the way."

We’re glad to have you back, Jeremy.

Want to get involved? Join and ride with us this September.

Three ambassadors. One Ian. That’s a lot of experience (and probably a few good stories) in one photo.

We’re delighted to have Mike Beatty, Gordon Dutch and Mark Nisbet officially on board as Together for Cinema ambassadors, each bringing decades of industry knowledge and a shared passion for what we do.

From championing our work across the AV community to supporting the growth of GivingBack.tech, this trio is already helping us reach further and do more.

Now… who’s in charge of keeping Ian in line?

From first enquiry to finished cinema room… it’s never just a straight line.

Behind every installation are countless conversations, site visits, and development meetings to get things right.

Just this past week:
• Development meetings for Demelza Charity Children’s Hospice (Eltham), St Catherine’s Hospice (Whitby) and Zoe’s Place (Liverpool)
• Site meeting at Marie Curie UK Hospice (Liverpool)
• Oakhaven Hospice installation now underway

It’s a process, but one worth getting right.

Now onto the next stages… and getting closer to opening these spaces.

Ian is in Manchester tomorrow for the CEDIA EMEA Tech + Business Summit.

He’ll be there flying the flag for Together for Cinema and GivingBack.tech, catching up with familiar faces and having a few good conversations about how our industry can keep making a real difference.

If you’re there too, do say hello. He’s always happy to chat… especially after a cup of tea or two.

We are delighted that Maddie Watson from Rako Controls Ltd is joining the London to Brighton cycle ride which means we now have three ladies in our group. Along with Maddie we have Keziah Newlove and Zahraa Alidari from Amina Sound. This is great news for Team TFC and will hopefully encourage even more of you to join us for a challenging and exhilarating experience later this year.

The team now stands at 35 riders and we'd like to have 50 of us taking part on the day. Can you join us on Sunday 13th September 2026?

A great challenge for 2026 to cycle 54 miles, plenty of time to train and you'll be raising vital funds to help us install cinema rooms into charitable family care venues such as children's hospices and hospitals.

Contact us today to sign up!

Last week, we brought our ambassadors of Together For Cinema and GivingBack.tech together for the very first time, connecting virtually to share ideas and begin shaping what comes next.

Following our recent announcement of Mike Beatty, we’ll be introducing two more ambassadors very soon.

There’s a real sense of momentum building behind the scenes, and we’re excited about what’s to come. Stay tuned.
