Great Ayton Christmas Hamper Campaign We rely on donations from the fantastic community so we are able to make up christmas hampers for struggling families and individuals. How does it work?

Hello and welcome to the Great Ayton Christmas Hamper Campaign page. All the families/individuals are nominated to us via schools, nurseries, careers and counsellor's within Great Ayton who are all struggling for various reasons. All nominations are confidential and we are only given the dynamics of the family - for instance; Mum, Dad, Girl aged 3 and Boy age 1 month or Pregnant Women, Man age 17,

Man and Woman age 75. Donations of cupboard food, gifts, toiletries and more are then dropped off at named location and set times. Once donations are received then volunteers help to make up the hampers for the nominated families/individuals. Once made up they are then dropped off to the correct school or picked up by those who sent in the nominations. After the great success of the Half Term Food Hampers and seeing first hand the invaluable difference these hampers make to those who receive them and sometimes being the only gift they receive, I have decided to continue the hamper over Christmas and hopefully with the help of volunteers and the fantastic community this could become a yearly campaign.
