We all enjoyed our Summer show on Saturday.
Despite the recent weather , members brought along a wide range of items for the classes and the hall was filled with lots to look at.
We were very lucky with great weather and the tea and cakes went down very well whilst members and guests chatted in the sunshine.

On Wednesday evening over 30 members and 2 visitors joined us to hear Paul Grimmer talk to us about interest in the garden all year round. Paul brought with him an array of plants suitable for various different spots in the garden and to some plant names we may not have heard before.
It was a fascinating talk and certainly made us think about placement , planting and in some cases pruning for more blooms.
At the end of his talk, many were keen to take home the plants they had purchased from his selection.
A visit to his nursery is on the to do list!
