Good evening everyone.
We hope you’re all well and looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend.
As previously mentioned, tonight we are super excited to announce the Friday lineup for The Night Before Sarcomafest, which takes place on September 25th at the Red Lion, Gravesend. So with no further ado, playing at the Night Before Sarcomafest are:
🔥 WRETCHED SOUL 🔥
🖤 Seething Akira 🖤
🔥 Iron Slug 🔥
🖤 Sanguis Mortem 🖤
Our co-headliners are none other than our good friends and Sarcomafest veterans Wretched Soul, who will be sharing top billing with Portsmouth’s 6 piece electronic nu-core band, Seething Akira.
Wretched Soul are no strangers to SF or the Red Lion and are currently working on a new album, which we’re looking forward to hearing and hopefully some of the new tracks will be played at SF. These guys are one of Colin’s favourites and always put on a great show, so we can’t wait to have them play for us again at SF26!
Seething Akira are a superbly energetic live act, renowned for their intense performances and getting the crowd going. If you’re a fan of the likes of the Prodigy, Enter Shikari and Hacktivist, you’re in for a real treat. It’s not an understatement to say that we’re super stoked to have them back at the Red Lion and making their SF debut before they pop over to tour in Europe. Go check out their “Cancel Estate” album to get a dose of what to expect at SF.
Completing the lineup are Kent’s own sludge/doom masters, Iron Slug, who have released one of the albums of the year so far (Deceit and Misery) in my opinion! These guys are playing the Black Heart on the Saturday of Desertfest on the 15th May, so go and see what all the riffing fuss is about if you’re there! I know I will!
Opening up proceedings will be young and up and coming thrashers Sanguis Mortem, who hail from Bournemouth. These guys are making quite a name for themselves as a superb live act so will be the perfect way to get things started at SF26. Go check out their debut album “Merry Doomsday” to hear what to expect.
I think you’ll agree that this is one of the best line-ups we’ve put on at SF!
And we still have the Saturday lineup to announce, which we’ll do in the near future.
Enjoy the weekend and hopefully we’ll see a few of you at the Kent M2TM semi-final at the Red Lion on Sunday.
Take care,
Cheers,
Jules, Steve, Nicholas, Stuart and Julie (AKA Team SF) 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻
