Good evening everyone.

We hope you’re all well and looking forward to the Bank Holiday weekend.

As previously mentioned, tonight we are super excited to announce the Friday lineup for The Night Before Sarcomafest, which takes place on September 25th at the Red Lion, Gravesend. So with no further ado, playing at the Night Before Sarcomafest are:

🔥 WRETCHED SOUL 🔥
🖤 Seething Akira 🖤
🔥 Iron Slug 🔥
🖤 Sanguis Mortem 🖤

Our co-headliners are none other than our good friends and Sarcomafest veterans Wretched Soul, who will be sharing top billing with Portsmouth’s 6 piece electronic nu-core band, Seething Akira.

Wretched Soul are no strangers to SF or the Red Lion and are currently working on a new album, which we’re looking forward to hearing and hopefully some of the new tracks will be played at SF. These guys are one of Colin’s favourites and always put on a great show, so we can’t wait to have them play for us again at SF26!

Seething Akira are a superbly energetic live act, renowned for their intense performances and getting the crowd going. If you’re a fan of the likes of the Prodigy, Enter Shikari and Hacktivist, you’re in for a real treat. It’s not an understatement to say that we’re super stoked to have them back at the Red Lion and making their SF debut before they pop over to tour in Europe. Go check out their “Cancel Estate” album to get a dose of what to expect at SF.

Completing the lineup are Kent’s own sludge/doom masters, Iron Slug, who have released one of the albums of the year so far (Deceit and Misery) in my opinion! These guys are playing the Black Heart on the Saturday of Desertfest on the 15th May, so go and see what all the riffing fuss is about if you’re there! I know I will!

Opening up proceedings will be young and up and coming thrashers Sanguis Mortem, who hail from Bournemouth. These guys are making quite a name for themselves as a superb live act so will be the perfect way to get things started at SF26. Go check out their debut album “Merry Doomsday” to hear what to expect.

I think you’ll agree that this is one of the best line-ups we’ve put on at SF!

And we still have the Saturday lineup to announce, which we’ll do in the near future.

Enjoy the weekend and hopefully we’ll see a few of you at the Kent M2TM semi-final at the Red Lion on Sunday.

Take care,

Cheers,

Jules, Steve, Nicholas, Stuart and Julie (AKA Team SF) 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻

Good evening everyone. We hope you’re all well and enjoying the weekend.

It’s come to my attention that last Thursday 23rd April was the 10 year anniversary of the first ever Sarcomafest! We were still finding our feet back then a bit, but with the help of our headliners and great friends Anihilated and bands such as WRETCHED SOUL, Colin and I put on a decent first SF and raised a bit of cash for Sarcoma UK.

So, enough looking back. Let’s look forward to this year’s Sarcomafest on September 25th and 26th.

The bill for the Friday is complete and Saturday is almost there.

With that in mind, we’ll announce the four bands who’ll play the Friday next Friday 1st May. We have four great bands for you, with co-headliners who have both played Bloodstock, one on the main stage. You’ll not want to miss this announcement!

In the meantime, have a great week and take care out there.

Cheers,

Team SF 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻

We’re working hard on the line up for this years SF (September 25th and 26th) and will start making announcements in a couple of weeks!

In the meantime, check out the superb line up (see photo) that our SF buddy Stuart Jessop has pulled together for Beastfest 4. These tickets will sell quickly so go grab one asap! 🔥 🔥

Enjoy your weekend and take care out there!

Good afternoon everyone.

We hope you’re all well and having a great weekend.

It’s now just over 2 weeks since our memorial gig for Colin and we’re still buzzing and a bit overwhelmed by it all tbh. It was a superb and emotional night, which was an incredibly fitting tribute to Colin. Thanks again to everyone involved.

As you’ll know, one of the main objectives of Sarcomafest is to raise money for the very worthy charity that is Sarcoma UK.

The memorial gig was raising funds for both Sarcoma UK and The Wisdom Hospice, who looked after Colin so well.

We’re pleased and honoured to announce that the memorial gig raised the grand total of £2,424, which means that each charity receives £1,212!

We’re very proud of this achievement and can’t thank you all enough. Without all of you it would not be possible 🖤

As a reminder, Sarcomafest will take place on the 25th & 26th September. Mark your calendars accordingly!

We’re busy booking bands already and will make some announcements soon, so watch this space.

In the meantime, continue supporting the scene and take care out there.

Cheers,

Team SF (Jules, Steve, Nic, Stuart & Julie) 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻

T-SHIRTS - THIRD AND FINAL ROUND - MAIL ORDER OPTION

Hello everyone, Steve here, the only bloke in an orange shirt in the building. If you didn't catch the significance, that's a San Francisco Giants shirt. Where's Colin's non-UK part of the family, and where's the background for the gig poster? SF. Yeah. ANYWAY -

A few people asked about the very lovely Colin memorial shirts on the night, so here's what I can offer:

I will organise a third and final run of shirts, mail order only, with a LONG open period to get you past payday, again. Here's the spiel...

SHIRT: £20 for XXS to 2XL, £23 for 3XL and 4XL. That's the prices they set, not us. You who were there, you saw they're bloody lovely. Stanley/Stella Creator Organic shorts, much better than standard gig shirt Gildan stock.

POSTAGE: UK is £5, GERMANY is £9, USA is £16. Note for anything outside the UK they might try and stripe you for VAT as well, so be ready for potentially more on top, cannot tell until I pay. BUT if you order more than one then the postage doesn't double so there's that. It goes up by a quid or two, roughly. As ever, to be worked out on a per order basis.

HOW DO I GET A SHIRT THEN STEVE?

SAME AS LAST TIME. Email [email protected] with SHIRT in the subject line (stops it falling into the spam filter) and I'll mail you details. I need to know number, sizes, and an address. Payment by PayPal Friends & Family or bank transfer, to me. Saves on charges, again.

To recap, one shirt delivered UK is £25, Germany £29, USA £36 and those foreign mailings might yet attract VAT. Nothing I can do about that. More than one, ask.

This offer is open until 00:01 on Sunday March 1st 2026. That means February Pay Day will come and go. After that I shall put in the order, and when the shirts arrive I shall package by hand here as it's cheaper than mailing out from there.

Final point: if you order a shirt - especially abroad - I need you to make sure it can be received. For SF last year I had a shirt ordered, crossed the seas, couldn't be delivered, and came back - I had to issue a refund and I didn't even get the rogue shirt as it stayed with the supplier. That wiped out a chunk of the charity take. It's not happening again.

OK that's it, shout if you want one. It's this and then done. They won't be ready for the funeral/wake - but Beermageddon, Download, Bloodstock et al.? Certainly.

See some of you beauties 13/2 to pay respects. Steve x

WOW! What a night that was and a very fitting tribute to Colin!

It was everything we wanted it to be and more. All the bands and the crowd gave it their all from beginning to end. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Red Lion so rammed and some of the pits were off the chart! It had a real old school metal vibe about it! Colin would’ve loved it! 🖤

Obviously putting on an event such as this is not possible without lots of people! So, massive thanks to:

All the bands that played superb sets. Day of Wrath U.K., Spyder Byte, Enquire Within and our amazing headliners Acid Reign, we love you lots!
Terry, Aaron and all the staff at the superb Leo's Red lion Gravesend!
Vic and Gumby on sound etc.
Fred on the door.
Stuart and Julie Rose, who are both an integral part of the SF team.

And obviously none of it would be possible without all you lovely people who turned up to pay tribute to Colin, sold out the venue and had such a great time. We did him proud!

We’ve raised a great amount of money for both Sarcoma UK and Wisdom Hospice Charity, and I’ll post exact details once the numbers have all been tallied etc.

The Sarcomafest team are eternally grateful to every single one of you.

We’re already looking forward to Sarcomafest later in the year, so mark your diaries for the 25th and 26th September. Keep your eyes peeled for more info and band announcements soon.

Until next time, take care out there and…

F**K CANCER!

Cheers,

Jules, Steve, Stuart, Julie & Nic 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻
