For all those that have booked, shared the posts or spoke with family and friends about us thank you all for your support. Many of you come back year after year and it does mean a lot to us. You should have by now received a email about what to expect tomorrow.

Collection orders will be closing today!

A big thank you for all those that have supported us new and those that have returned year after year. The route planning elf will be hard at work over the next two days to make sure we get round to collect trees as soon as we can.

Before the recycling lorries come round we will also collect the below. These get passed onto other charitable systems that we are in contact with. Please leave them with your tree and we will pick them up at the same time.

-Empty sweet tubs - Raises money towards Macmillan cancer research via the 'Tubs2Pubs' scheme.

-Postage stamps - Passed onto to raise money for Royal National Institute of Blind People.

-Milk bottle tops - Passed onto a collection point in East Grinstead that raises money for Great Ormond street hospital.

We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas!! The Santa on Riverview held by Riverview Park Scout group went down well with the locals and those that came to view on Christmas eve.

Now that the Father Christmas has been hopefully the needles are not falling too fast off your tree. Plenty of time and space to book your tree I for collection.

The year does come round quick and it seems to get quicker. Never the less bookings for this years collection are now OPEN!!! Help us lit up the tree by heading over to the website via the link below. We will be out on 3rd Jan 2026 from 0830 collecting (4th Jan as a reserve date). The chippings from last year are doing the job nicely at the campsite so this year the branches will help to create dead hedges to allow wildlife to nest.

Your help either by ordering a collection or even just sharing this post is as always greatly appreciated.

Tree collection for this year has been complete. Thank you once again to you all and our volunteers.

A little change to what we have done recently with the trees as our local campsite was after some wood chippings. John from Salix tree and garden services kindly offered to chip the trees.

The chippings will end up on the floor of our woodland tomahawk (axe) throwing range. Once the ground dries up the campsite volunteers will shift the pile from the carpark to the woods.

We will be back again next year. Bookings will open in early December.

With 24 hours left to book a collection we have plenty of space left. Thank you to everyone that has supported us this year and all the years we've done the collection. It helps keep the scout hall available to our other community groups.
